Sarcasm...

I was once told that being sarcastic isn't very Christian and by the same person I was told that sarcasm isn't found anywhere in the Bible. I struggled with that often over the past few years after searching for the word “sarcasm” in the Bible and not finding it. However, just yesterday, a sermon was preached that described James 2:19 “You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that--and shudder.” Sarcasm used by God...What do you think?

Handing it over...my will that is!

Letting God control your life is AMAZING!!! Scott took me to grab a salad after school. Upon arriving two ladies caught my attention-- they reminded me of my Mom (Mary Burton) and her sisters. After much observing and contemplation, I listened to the Holy Spirit and asked the ladies if I could pray with them. I prayed and then they began to tell me that they are both ill, one terminally with cancer and the other with a fibromyalgia- like illness.
My intentions were to visit my AMAZING new helper; however I am SO EXCITED that God chose to intertwine my life with these lovely ladies.'
